Every day more than 15,000 people reach Milan from Milan Malpensa International Airport, travelling on board the ‘Malpensa Express’.

This service is provided by ETR245 Coradia Meridian, electric trains manufactured by Alstom, which have been in operation since 2011

The ETR245 is a convoy formed of 5 cars;82.2 metres long, it offers 230 seats and plenty of space for bulky luggage.

ETR245 trains can be coupled together.

This train has been designed according to the most modern criteria of comfort and accessibility: level access and retractable steps, low floors, luminous screens and sound systems, 220 V sockets to power PCs and mobile phones, fire protection system, etc.

The ETR245 is a high-performance train. It has a maximum speed of 160 km/h.
