In case of train strike

The following Eurocity trains operated by Trenord are not affected by strikes and are therefore always guaranteed
EC83 and EC82, which in winter cover the Brenner-Bologna route and in summer extend the route to Ancona.

Running times in winter:

• EC83 [Brennero 12:14 - Bologna 16:08]
• EC82 [Bologna 13:52 - Brennero 17:48]

Running times in summer:

• EC83 [Brennero 12:14 - Ancona 19:10]
• EC82 [Ancona 11:30 - Brennero 17:48]

Trains already in service at the start of the strike will be guaranteed to reach their final destination if they are within one hour of departure when the strike begins. Trains scheduled to arrive in the area affected by the strike more than one hour after the start of the action may terminate at stations before their final destination. 

NOTE:
The different types of industrial action, in terms of duration, participation, network coverage, and staff involved, mean that the list of minimum guaranteed services may be subject to change. Therefore, in the event of strikes affecting the guaranteed time slots, customers are invited to check for any updates to the list of guaranteed trains.

Yes, within 30 days from the day of the strike, you can request a refund of your ticket in the manner indicated  on the page dedicated to refunds.
